Time reversal symmetries in the hyperboloidal framework

Abstract

The $t$-$\phi$ “symmetry” is a property of the Kerr spacetime that plays an important role in several applications, for instance in the construction of quasi-normal mode bi-orthogonality products. In this talk, I will revisit this symmetry from the perspective of the hyperboloidal framework, leading to a unique notion of “future” and “past” hyperboloidal slices.
